On Tuesday, at sunrise, 31 times were held at the Independence Monument square in the Dak Bungalow ground of the municipal town. The day was officially inaugurated with a cannon salute. Later, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Mohiuddin laid a wreath in memory of the martyrs of the Liberation War and on behalf of the Upazila Parishad, Upazila Administration and Municipal Council. At that time<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Police administration, heads of various government departments, Upazila Freedom Fighter Command, brave freedom fighters, family members of martyred freedom fighters, BNP, Jamaat and their affiliates, educational institutions and various social and Representatives of cultural organizations laid wreaths in turn. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Mohiuddin officially hoisted the national flag at the Nabin Chandra Government Model High School grounds at 9 am. Abu Masud, Agriculture Officer Jasim Uddin, Journalist Muktadir Hossain, Khaled Parvez Bakhsh, Mainul Haque Paban, Alauddin Kabir, Najmul Bari Suhel, AKM Jaber, Mahfuz Shakil, Mohiuddin Ripon, July Fighter Zahidul Islam, Shamim Ahmed, Lincoln Talukder, Atiqur Rahman Tarek, Al Adnan Chowdhury, Sheikh Badrul Hossain Rana, Ibrahim Mahmud, Arman Rafiq, Emon Ahmed, Raihan Ahmed, Badrul Hossain and others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Various entrepreneurs brought their handicrafts to the fair. At 12 noon, the Zilla Parishad Auditorium organized a ceremony to commemorate the freedom fighters and martyrs. A reception was given to the family members of the freedom fighters. It was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Mohiuddin. The program was moderated by Mazharul Islam, Assistant Professor of Langla Modern Degree College.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The police station&#8217;s officer-in-charge (OC) Muhammad Moniruzzaman Mollah, upazila senior fisheries officer Abu Masud, upazila BNP&#8217;s former convener Redwan Khan, upazila Jamaat secretary Belal Ahmed Chowdhury,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-33820\" src=\"http:\/\/shadeshmail.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/4-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"392\" \/>Heroic freedom fighters Kamalakanta Bhowmik, Habib Mia Government officials, heroic freedom fighters, leaders of BNP, Jamaat and various levels and media personnel were present at the event. Among other day-long programs, Liberation War Drawing competitions, cultural programs and prize distribution were held for children and teenagers on the subject. In addition, various sports and cultural programs were held in all educational institutions. All mosques, temples, churches and other religious Prayers and special prayers were offered at the place of worship.
